Communication, collaboration, problem solving, character analysis, and making complex inferences are just a few of the skills that Mrs.Hollis's 8th grade ELA classes worked to demonstrate with a variety of short stories this month. The students demonstrated their understanding and application of these skills through completion of an escape room, writing a police report, and delivering an investigative report to the class. They were rewarded for their hard work and good behavior with a Halloween coffee and cocoa bar. Thank you to all of the parents that helped provide items for the coffee/cocoa bar.
