The History of Christmas Story

Good morning parents and guardians,
 I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the holiday season, we wanted to inform you of an annual tradition in the Rehobeth area schools. Each year, Pastor Matt Pollard from Rehobeth Baptist Church visits our schools to share the “History of Christmas Story” with the students.

During this presentation, Pastor Matt will provide a Christian perspective on the meaning of Christmas and why Christians celebrate the holiday. The story typically lasts about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on student participation, and is shared with the students during their gym class.

If for any reason you prefer your child not to participate in the “History of Christmas Story,” please let us know. We will arrange for another coach to escort those students to the other side of the gym. You can notify us via ParentSquare, email, or by calling the school.
